Effects Beyond the Mind - the immense Benefit or Harm our Thoughts can inflict

We typically pay little attention to our thoughts. Invisible to us, we consider them insignificant, and science presents them as the result of brain waves that cannot have consequences beyond our head. Yet, in reality, thoughts extend far beyond our bodies. They influence not only our own well-being and even our destiny but also determine the quality of our relationships. And that's not all: As creators of these highly energetic entities, we contribute more significantly to peace or discord in the world through the quality of our thoughts than we realize—without being conscious of it!

With little effort, we can discover the far-reaching effects of our thoughts—we just need to pay some attention to them! Thus, we can observe how gloomy or aggressive thoughts can ruin our entire day, and with prolonged nurturing, they can even make us sullen, grumpy, and sick. Conversely, they can greatly beautify life, such as when we are newly in love!

But that's not all: Fellow humans, whom we approach with strong mental reservations or with good thoughts, sense this and react accordingly. They either feel burdened and depressed by us or, in the opposite case, accepted and encouraged. Naturally, this plays a crucial role in whether they meet us with sympathy or antipathy. Therefore, the quality of our relationships is strongly linked to the nature and quality of our thoughts!

And ultimately, our destiny is shaped by our thoughts and attitudes. Thus, we have an incredible amount in our own hands!

Below, important questions about the effectiveness of thoughts are answered. Did you already know:

- that the far-reaching effects of our thoughts were known thousands of years ago, much more so than today?

- that besides thoughts, there are other phenomena that are not visible or measurable but are highly effective?

- that numerous mysteries of science can only be explained by assuming a world beyond our five senses?

- why thoughts are highly energetic entities with enormous reach?

- how terror, rampages, and all other problems of this world are connected to corresponding thoughts?

- how we can consequently achieve a better world and more mature attitudes?

Why Thoughts are powerful Forces

… and how the Nature of our Thoughts determines the Quality of our Lives

Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become your character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.

This ancient quote from the Talmud refers to the natural and lawful chain of consequences in which thoughts stand at the very beginning. There is hardly a shorter or more accurate way to express this truth—and if we truly want to take it seriously, especially within our Western culture, we face the great challenge of fundamentally changing and expanding our understanding and attitude toward thoughts.

We still tend to see them as mere "smoke and mirrors"—or actually even less than that: as nothing at all. Thinking is usually regarded as a private indulgence, something we can pursue freely and without consequences.

The saying “Thoughts are free!” can also be viewed in two ways: positively, as the precious potential for inner freedom that no one can easily take from us once we’ve achieved it; or negatively, as the supposed right to think anything we please, even harmful thoughts—without being held accountable by anyone.

The claim that thoughts are powerful forces is generally not taken very seriously in our society, as most people believe that thoughts are merely the result of brain activity. In that case, it seems logical to assume that these tiny currents of energy are confined to our own heads and have no external influence. In such a view, they are entirely "duty-free." This reflects the widespread materialistic worldview that assumes the visible and measurable world is all that exists.

However, if we want to come closer to understanding how thoughts work, there is no way around engaging with the unseen, more subtle levels of existence—for the inability to see these levels (or thoughts themselves) does not prove they do not exist or that they have no effect!

That strictly materialistic picture is increasingly being challenged—by new scientific developments and by researchers adopting alternative approaches. Countless observations across a wide range of fields can no longer simply be ignored. They cast serious doubt on the old assumptions and increasingly suggest the existence of higher laws and a world beyond the reach of our five senses. Once we allow for the possibility of such a finer, more subtle realm, we take the first steps into the very sphere in which thoughts take form and operate.

A few examples:

  • All fundamental Laws of Creation elude direct and measurable perception. Yet we experience their effects every second of our lives. They govern every process in this world—from the smallest to the largest. No science would be workable without the Natural Laws underlying it.

  • The English biologist Rupert Sheldrake has shown, among many other things, that animals possess astonishing, almost telepathic abilities, which are explored in various reports.

  • The scientist Fritz-Albert Popp demonstrated that living cells emit photons—light. This light may be the key to the mysterious coordination of about a trillion organized metabolic processes that occur every second in the human body.

  • Reincarnation research has revealed compelling evidence suggesting the transfer of consciousness from a deceased body to a new one—pointing strongly to the reality of rebirth.

  • And finally, Free Will, which allows us to make every life decision, is even more elusive and unmeasurable than thought itself.
